Every day I turn on the TV and watch various international groups begging for money to assist the poverty-stricken, the sick and the homeless.
We have exactly the same problem here in Attawapiskat. These people need our help.
Why can’t we reach out to our First Nations people and help them? After all, they didn’t live in such squalor until their country was taken from them.
