Vivian Mary Bowerman, a resident of Tehkummah, died on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Manitoulin Health Centre in Mindemoya at the age of 93. She was born to Mary (McKechnie) Coe and Albert Coe in Assiginack Township, Manitoulin District on December 14, 1922. Beloved wife of Alvin Bowerman (predeceased in 2000). Proud mother of Andy (Linda), John (Sharon), Paul (Barb), and Mary (Jim) Robinson. Cherished grandmother of Kerry (Angela), Peggy (Steve Wood), Jackie, Chad, Adam, Emilly, Matthew, Jennifer (Matthew), Cole (fiance Alicia), Amanda (Charlie), Crystal and great-grandmother to Kurtis (Christine), Zachary, Andrew (Cheyenne), Jenna (Kyle), Naomi, Noah, Benjamin, Chloe, Gracie, Lauren, and Nathan. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends gathered at the Tehkummah Triangle Seniors Club on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Services were held at the Tehkummah Triangle Seniors Club on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 1 pm with Rev. Martin Garniss officiating. Burial will be at Hilly Grove Cemetery in the Spring.
