on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Joseph Patrick Osawanimiki
of Wikwemikong (predeceased).
Loving mother of Mervyn, Wayne, Richard (Rose),
Ethel (Urban), Sharon, Peggy, Bernadette
and James Salvatore (predeceased).
Dear daughter of John Xavier Atchitawen and Josephine (both predeceased) of Wikwemikong.
Dear sister of Agnes, Clement and Frances Roy
(all predeceased).
Survived by sister Teresa Shawande and brothers Albert Roy and Emerick Roy. Daughter in-law to William Osawanimiki and Nancy (nee Wagosh) (both predeceased). Sister -in-law of Rose Corbiere and Georgina Enosse. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Victoria was an active A.A. member, enjoyed spending time visiting her family, cousins and spending time with her grandchildren. Victoria was a dedicated worker, as she spoke fondly of all the work she had done right up to her retirement. She will be fondly remembered by all the lives she touched. Baamaapii Miinwaa gwabmin. Rested at her residence 1209 Webkamigad Road from 1 pm Saturday, January 25, 2014. Visitation was from 1 pm Sunday, January 26, 2014
at St. Anthony Daniel Church.
Funeral Mass was at 11 am on Monday, January 27, 2014
at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni. Arrangements entrusted to Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
