‘Trial by Jury’ a major success

Donations to bring back Burns Wharf Theatre are still appreciated

To the Expositor:

Burns Wharf Theatre Players has a very successful run of ‘Trial by Jury’ performed at the Debajehmujig Creation Centre in Manitowaning, July 14-19 and July 22-25. We packed the house almost every night and our audiences were delighted with the show!

We are grateful to Debajehmujig for allowing us to use their wonderful facility and for being so supportive in so many ways (lighting, sound, props, etc.) while we were there. We were made to feel that it was our home away from home.

This year’s production was a fundraiser for the necessary upgrades that have to be done to Burns Wharf Theatre on the waterfront to bring it up to fire safety and accessibility codes.

Thank you to everyone who made a donation during the run of our show.

If you wish to make a donation and would like to have a tax receipt for that

donation, please make your cheque payable to The Township of Assiginack,

Box 238, Manitowaning, ON P0P 1N0 or if you do not require a tax receipt you may make your cheque payable to Burns Wharf Theatre Players, Box 314, Manitowaning, ON P0P 1N0. Either way, the money that you give will go directly towards the cost of upgrades to Burns Wharf Theatre.

We hope to begin the upgrades as soon as possible and thank you in advance for your generous contributions.
