Manitoulin Island Cycling Advocates (MICA) wishes to thank MP Carol Hughes and MPP Michael Mantha for their quick and wholehearted support regarding the Georgian Bay Cycling Route (GBCR) project. Carol Hughes has supported us right from the beginning. She was personally present, lobbying with us for paved shoulders on Hwy 6 in the spring of 2010. In December 2010 MICA was founded.
MICA wishes to extend a warm thank you to our political leaders. We know that together we can accomplish great things, building on the success and infrastructure achievements accomplished in the past two years.
