In loving memory of Stella Hartley, a resident of Manitoulin Lodge, and formerly of Spring Bay, who died at the Lodge on Sunday, March 11, 2012, 9 days following her 88th birthday. Stella had a wide range of interests and hobbies, which included quilting, cooking, working with and growing flowers, which she won many awards for. She made many quilts for family and others. Stella enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and was very involved in her church. Stella will also be remembered for helping others whenever the need was there. Stella was predeceased by her husband Albert (Ab) on November 29, 1987. Dearly loved and loving mother of Shirley of Toronto, Shelva of Toronto, Mary and husband Rick Block of Milton, Helen and husband Dave Kew of Ajax, Gayle Dion of Stoney Creek, Patti-Ann Watson of Edmonton and Ivan of Spring Bay. Predeceased by daughter Donna. Proud grandmother of Vickie, Tara, Krista, Kenny, Jessie, Natalie, Rebecca, Derrick, Amber, Ryan, Julian, Sydney and McKenzie and great-granddaughter Sunny. Friends called at the Culgin Funeral Home from 10 am to 11 am on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. The funeral service was conducted at 11 am with Pastor Dan Thompson officiating.
