April 21—I hope everyone had a happy and blessed Easter.

Guests for dinner with David and Connie on Sunday were Brent, Tammey, Ava, Easton and myself. We all enjoyed a nice turkey dinner.

Royce and Margaret Young went to Sudbury on Sunday to have Easter dinner with their daughter Cindy and granddaughter.

Watched the ladies’ and men’s grand slam curling on the weekend. The Jennifer Jones’ rink won over the Rachel Homan rink with a very close game. In the men’s Kevin Martin’s rink won over Brad Jacobs’ rink from Sault Ste. Marie. It also was a very close game.

We extend sympathy to the McDermid families in the passing of Ken. He was a friend of my late husband and will be missed.

Erwin and Irene MacIntyre had some of their family home for Easter dinner on Saturday.

Easter guests with Reverend Bain and Lynda Peever were Meagan Madore, Keith Finnila, Kari and Brenda from Sudbury.

A large number of people attended the Friday and Sunday services at the St. Francis Anglican Church in Mindemoya.

Allen and Rosemarie Eagleson spent Easter in Mattawa and visited me on Tuesday.

We extend sympathy to the Kennedy family in the sudden passing of Doug. Sympathy to the Gibson family in the passing of Sue. They will be missed.

Royce, Tracy, Christian and Lexis Young spent Easter weekend in Mattawa and in Sudbury with Royce’s sister and daughter.

Get well wishes to Harold Kirk, Ted Jackson and Hasen White who at time of writing are in the Mindemoya Hospital.

Meals on Wheels has started again twice a week. It is much appreciated.

Get well wishes to all who are sick.
