Spring Bay Rural Route

September 22—This weekend was a bit on the rainy side again. Most farmers’ crops are still in the field due to all the rain.

Wanda Murdock called me on Saturday. She was here to bury the ashes of her son, a young man. We extend sympathy to her and family. Wanda lived in Mindemoya for many years and attended St. Francis Assisi Anglican Church.

Dinner guests with David and Connie on Sunday were Brent, Tammey, Ava, Easton, and myself. The children had to come over to see the horses.

Don’t forget the Harvest Luncheon at St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church in Mindemoya on Wednesday morning.

Get well wishes to Maryann Pilon who was flown to Ottawa. Also get well to Marion Seabrook who is in Mindemoya Hospital.

Allan, Rosemarie, and David had lunch with me on Tuesday. She brought me some lovely ripe tomatoes. Their tomatoes are ripening but a lot of people’s aren’t.

We welcome Wilda White to her home here in Spring Bay. We hope she enjoys it here.

Royce and Tracey Young returned home Friday after a week’s holiday in Niagara Falls.
