August 25—The Providence Bay and Spring Bay Lions Club hosted another successful Rib and Corn Barbecue on Saturday at the arena in Providence Bay.
Lavina Galbraith visited me last Monday afternoon.
Most of the gardens did well this year except tomatoes are slow due to so much cold weather, especially at night.
Today, Monday, August 25 it is nice and sunny.

Ken and Sheila Maeck had their grandson visiting them last week.
Dr. Terry and Kylli McAllister visited me on Wednesday and brought me some apples. They also bought one of my books. I only have seven books left.
Hearley and Margo Hinds had their son and daughter-in-law visiting them at Stanley Park.
Tammey, Ava and Easton were in and Ava was riding her pony.
Andrew and Tara Dryden spent last week with Tara’s parents Bob and Wendy Bedard at Stanley Park.
