In loving memory of Richard “Ricky” Pitawanakwat, a resident of Wikwemikong, who passed away at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the age of 66. Son of the late Moses and Leona (Manitowabi). Ricky was loved by his wife Linda (Beauvais); his children Roland (friend Charlene), Dianne (friend Maurice), Patricia, Peach (friend Lindsay), Samara (husband Warren Lewis); his grandchildren Tyler, Brandon, Brady, Brittany, Jessica, Beyonce, Brianna-Lee, Jasmine, Dylan, Stecia, Tylor, Michelle, Victoria, David, Brittany and Kirsten, Jackie, Karen, Joseph and Kristy, and Katrina; and his siblings Marjorie, Lloyd, Patricia, Rita, and Harold (all predeceased), Laura, Carol (husband Stewart), Barbara, Gerald (wife Rose), Judy (husband Jarvis); and sister-in-law Laura. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. The things Ricky enjoyed most were hunting, camp, spending time with his grandchildren, and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Friends called at the St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 11 am. Funeral Service was conducted at Holy Cross Mission at 11 am on Monday, September 10, 2012. Cremation. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
