R. Isabel Ebel-Beatty (Matheson) passed away with grace and class at the Southampton Care Centre on August 5, 2014 in her 99th year. First Mate to the late Capt. Harold Ebel and the late Roy Beatty. Forever in the memory of her sons Lorne (Dori) Ebel of Orangeville, and John (Mary) Ebel of London, daughter Heather (Carl) Highgate of Chatham, and daughter-in-law Marie Ebel of McKerrow. Gramma Beatty will always be loved by nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Fondly remembered by neighbour and special friend Marilyn Holmes of Mindemoya. Predeceased by her parents John and Annie Matheson, sister Elaine, brothers Murray and Allen, son George, and grandson D. Matheson Ebel. Lifetime member Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 237. A Funeral Service to honour the life of Isabel Beatty will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11 am with visitation from 9:30 am to 11 am.
