Carole Gilmore’s sister Sharon and brother-in-law Harry Lines and dear friends Larry and Melody Harlbut visited during the Thanksgiving weekend.

Red Butler has been invited to a military event in New Brunswick. Red was the spokesperson for the “28 Heroes” documentary that was presented on Remembrance Day on TV.

A Wine and Cheese Party for curling was held at the Providence Bay Curling Club on Sunday.

Come out and watch Curfle Night at the Providence Bay Curling Club Mondays starting at 6:30 pm. If interested in playing call Wendy Niven at 705-377-5734.

Registration for Jr. Curling is Saturday, October 25 starting at 10 am. Elementary school children of all ages are welcome. Contact Dawn Dawson at 705-377-5003 for more information.

Providence Bay Curling Club will hold evening curling draws on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights. Spectators are welcome.

An open house was held on Sunday, October l9 with a draw to the button contest. Call David McDermid at 707-377-4668 for night curling.
