The pancake breakfast at the Coffee Club in Prov was a great success with a good turn out last Thursday. Harold and Shirley Dewar brought in some real maple syrup. Thank you.

Harold Arnold is now home from the hospital after surgery. Pat McFarlane is now transferred to Manitoulin Centennial Manor. Linda Gilchrist and Sharon Dewar visited with her before she was transferred and had a good time.

Grant Lewis from Sault Ste Marie was down for a visit and opened up his cottage for the summer. Harold Kirk has been transferred to Manitoulin Lodge.

We all hope Robbie McAllister is starting to feel better.

This Friday the Community of Christ Church in Providence Bay will be hosting their fourth annual youth dance. The dance is from 7 to 9 pm. All are welcome and a light lunch will be provided. Admission is free. Tell your friend about this dance.

Mr. and Mrs. Chester Coe of Sault Ste Marie and the Slash area are here on the Island. Son Charles has been seriously ill. We hope he feels better soon. Please remember our seniors and veterans this week and have fun getting your gardens ready now that spring is finally here.
