Community of Christ Church in Providence Bay had a coffee break on Tuesday, March 18 from 1 to 3 pm. Several people came and shared memories of Mary Oliver. ZuZu, her dog, was there and everyone just loves her. Thank you to everyone who made it special.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the McDermid family in the passing of Doug and also thanks to Donna Philips and Blair Sullivan who was there with him when he was ill.

The St. Patrick’s Day lunch on Thursday at the Pentecostal Church was very enjoyable with prayers and singing. Blair Sullivan took Toots McDermid and Erma McAllister and myself to the church. They sang Happy Birthday to Erma celebrating her 97th. All the best in the future, Erma. We love you.

Bev McFarlane passed away on Wednesday afternoon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. The service was at the Community of Christ in Providence Bay. There was a large crowd and lunch was served also several people spoke very highly of him. Thank goodness the weather was nice and sunny.

The Providence Bay Curling Club had a lovely fish supper with salads and a variety of dishes and great desserts. Awards were given out to the various teams.

Please remember our seniors and veterans in this weather please check on them if you live close by.

Have a great week. God Bless. If you have news give me a call at 705-377-4449.
