STURGEON FALLS – Economic Partners Sudbury East/West Nipissing Inc. last week revealed which Northern Ontario agricultural and equine businesses and organizations are being featured at the 2019 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, including several from Manitoulin Island. The 10-day event runs from November 1-10 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto.

With a FedNor investment of $564,075, Economic Partners is pleased to support the Northern Ontario Agri-food Pavilion, a high-profile venue that is showcasing approximately 50 exhibitors from across the region, including Manitoulin Island, at Canada’s largest indoor agricultural exposition.

“We are proud to partner with the Government of Canada and FedNor in this important initiative that shines a spotlight on Northern Ontario and creates opportunities for growth for participating business from across the region,” said Neil Fox, general manager, Economic Partners. “Through the pavilion, exhibitors will be able to develop new markets, boost sales and make valuable contacts.”

With a variety of products and services from wild rice and a selection of cheeses to all-natural skincare products and garden pruners on display, there will be something for everyone. That is why Economic Partners is encouraging visitors to stop by the Northern Ontario Pavilion to see why it is one of the most popular attractions at the fair, said Mr. Fox.

Those Manitoulin businesses who are participating in the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair include Bare Naked Beauty of Kagawong, Finnia Inc. (chocolate) in Gore Bay, Gee-Dah’s Inspirations in Wiikwemkoong, Hawberry Farms of Providence Bay, Manitoulin Botanicals in Meldrum Bay, and Purvis Fisheries of Silver Water.

Established in 1922, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair features more than one million square feet of displays and competition facilities, attracting approximately 300,000 visitors each year.
