Man Arrested for two Commercial Break, Enter and Thefts

On both February 12th and February 18th 2017 a male entered City Surplus located at 685 Notre Dame Avenue in Sudbury by breaking the front glass door. 

During each incident, once the glass door was smashed, the male culprit entered and stole store merchandise that is uniquely identifiable. 

The value of the stolen merchandise taken from City Surplus, from both incidents, is estimated at over $5,000.00. 

The Greater Sudbury Police Service Break, Enter and Robbery Unit conducted both investigations and using security video identified the male culprit.    

A search warrant was executed at a Sudbury residence and evidence of the crimes was recovered. 

A 39 year old Sudbury man stands charged with two counts of Break, Enter and Theft and one count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and appeared in Court this morning.
