MINDEMOYA—The Central Manitoulin Lions Club, coupled with the Providence Bay-Spring Bay Lions Club, recently made a donation of $4,400 to the Manitoulin Central Family Health Team (MCFHT).

Fundraising for the clubs include the ever popular annual Homecoming Weekend elimination draw and supper/dance as well as other summer weekend events and dances held by the Central Manitoulin club for Hallowe’en and St. Patrick’s Day.

As Lion Tom McQuay pointed out, the club has seen a large increase in events and fundraising due to a recent influx of young members.
