A request to see the speech in print
To the Expositor:
I was happy to read in the May 16 edition of The Manitoulin Expositor that Eric Wahl had won the Royal Canadian Legion Provincial Public speaking competition. What an accomplishment for this young lad. Congrats Eric for reaching the top. I would like to see his speech printed in this paper. I know many would love to read it. Congrats to Mason Leighton also for placing second, runner up in his division. These two boys have made Manitoulin proud.

EDITOR’S NOTE: The Expositor also asked the family for a copy of the award-winning speech to reprint in these pages, but as the speech was just that, a speech, meant to be given orally, the family politely declined the request.
