Drop empties at 2566 Highway 540 (between AOK and M’Chigeeng)

As you may know, Manitoulin Pet Rescue (MPR) was unable to take in animals due to lack of funds to pay for their day-to-day needs as well as medical care. MPR and other Island rescues play an important role within our communities and funding is always the biggest hurdle to climb.
As a result, I am asking fellow Islanders, as well as visitors, to help make our bottle drive a great success! Our weather is beginning to cool, so the need is much greater. The bottle drive will be held from August 30 to October 15. We are asking you to drop off your empties to 2566 Hwy 540 (between AOK and M’Chigeeng). All monies received will be donated to MPR.
