Lenard Bruce John A. McDonald died peacefully at his home in Spring Bay on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the age of 83. Lenard was born to Marjorie Crawford and John A. McDonald in Carnarvon Township on Manitoulin Island on March 1, 1932. Beloved husband of Mary Jean (nee McKinley). Loved father of James Clifford (Margaret) of Spring Bay and Kenneth Bruce (predeceased). Proud grandfather of Mary, Sarah, Melissa, Danny, Maggie, Meagan, Malcolm, Miranda, Johnson, Ocean, Ariel and Katherine (predeceased). Survived by his brother George (Lois predeceased) of Spring Bay. Predeceased by his sister Melissa and his brothers James and Freddie. Family and friends gathered at the Spring Bay Pentecostal Church on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 12 pm to 1 pm. Funeral Services were held at the Spring Bay Pentecostal Church on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1 pm with Reverend Dan Thompson officiating. Burial followed at the Burpee Mills Cemetery.
