Kay passed away peacefully at Southlake Residential Care Village, Newmarket, in her 90th year. The beloved mother of Randall Munger (Allison Smith) and Marnie Ross (Don) and sadly missed by grandchildren Meredith Cowan, Ben Munger, Sarah Ross and Michelyn Smith-Munger. She is predeceased by her husband George. Kathleen was born in Toronto and raised on Glengarry Avenue in North Toronto and attended Northern Secondary Collegiate, where she met George. They married December 30, 1942 after George returned from serving in the Royal Canadian Navy and purchased their first home on Wedgewood Drive in Willowdale. George and Kay enjoyed 64 wonderful years together. After their retirement they balanced their lives between Collingwood, Manitoulin Island and Florida. Kay was a wonderful person who enjoyed life with many friends. She was loved by all and will be fondly remembered. After a private service Kay and George will rest together alongside Kay’s grandparents, parents, aunt and uncle in St. John’s York Mills Anglican Church Cemetery, Toronto.
