Josh passed away in Owen Sound on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Born on November 9, 1992, Joshua William Thompson of Owen Sound, was 27 years old. Beloved husband of Emily Pyette of Owen Sound. Cherished father of Rowan Thompson and Marlie Pyette. Loving son of Erin Thompson, and André Greer, and son-in-law of Sally and Todd Ramsay, all of Owen Sound. Loved brother of Jonny Thompson, Ashleigh Thompson, Jacob Greer (Chantelle), Hannah Greer, Brandon Greer, all of Owen Sound, and brother-in-law of Jenny McMann, Jordan Pyette and Brent Pyette (Michelle). Dear grandson of Cathryn Thompson of Owen Sound and Larry Greer of Quebec. Josh will also be missed by his aunts, Paula Thompson, Kerry Greer, Claire Miller, and by his cousins and best friends Kyle Thompson and Lindsay Thompson, all of Owen Sound. Predeceased by his grandpa Paul Thompson and his grandma Nicole Gendron. Josh loved his family and spending time with them. He was a talented woodworker who loved to build. He had a passion for camping, hiking, the outdoors, reading and taking care of all his aquariums. Cremation is taking pace and a private memorial service will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, (519-376-7492) at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated and can be made through the funeral home.
