JOSEPHINE MARY MISHIBINIJIMA (PITAWANAKWAT)
October 26, 1951 – March 4, 2016
In loving memory of Josephine Mary Mishibinijima (Pitawanakwat), a resident of Wikwemikong, who passed away at Manitoulin Health Centre on Friday, March 4, 2016 at the age of 64. Beloved daughter of the late Victoria (nee Wassegijig) and Ignatius Mishibinijima. Josephine was loved and cherished by her children, Clyde (Ashley), Bonnie (Nick), George (Karen), Cody, Angel (Tyson), and her grandchildren, Kristen, Jerry, Isaac, Clytie, Gage, Nicole, Julianna, Mackenzie, Leander, and her great-grandchildren, Trinity (predeceased) and Jenna. She will be missed by her siblings, Lina (predeceased) (Moses), Thomas (Lucy), Henry, Irene (predeceased), Chi-ten, Shirley, James (Jean), Raymond (predeceased) (Allison), Malcolm (Linda), Stella (predeceased) (Wayne), Catherine (predeceased) (Sydney), Mark, and her 20 nephews and 14 nieces. Josephine loved making crafts and teaching her grandchildren, extended family how to do crafts. She loved her TV Bingo, get-togethers and having her friends and family join her. Wake service was at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 6 pm. Funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11 am at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong.
