Jean Estelle Omnet, a resident of Little Current, died peacefully at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Jack. Loving mother of Robin Schachinger (Jeff), Julie, Jeremy (Anndrea). Proud grandmother of Cayley, Shannon and Ethan. Dear sister of Debbie Hastings (Dennis), Carol Kutchaw (predeceased), John Kutchaw (predeceased) (Catherine), Kelley Domingues (Afonso). Predeceased by parents Effie (nee Becks) and John Kutchaw. Will always be remembered by Jack’s family, Bill (predeceased), Marie Kewley (Hal predeceased), Kathy Halliday. Will be greatly missed by her dog Jackson. Will always be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends gathered at Island Funeral Home from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm on Monday, January 8, 2018. Funeral Service was held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Burial at Mountainview Cemetery in the spring. Donations requested to Rainbow Rescue, Holy Trinity Anglican Church or MHC Aux would be greatly appreciated. Island Funeral Home can only accept cheques for all charitable donations.
