Henry Joseph Peltier passed away at the age of 78 years old at the War Memorial Hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Loving father of Glen (wife Vivian) and Allison. Loving grandfather of Zachariah, Nicolas, Illyana. Dear son of William and Mary Peltier (both predeceased). Dear brother of James “Jack” (predeceased), Florence and Gladys. Dear brother-in-law of Sarah, Jean, Amelia, Georgina, James, Moses, Dan, Fredric, Remie and Johnny (all predeceased). Godfather of Marion Oshkabewisens, Debra Jacko and Colleen Manitowabi, Nathan Bell, Harold Shigwadja and Jerry McGregor. Beloved and long-time friend of Steve O’Neil. Henry will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a great many friends. Family and friends gathered from 6 pm Friday, March 30, 2012 and on Saturday and Sunday at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah. The Funeral Mass was at 11 am on Monday, April 2, 2012 at Holy Cross Mission, Wikwemikong, Ontario. Burial in Buzwah Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
