GORE BAY—It took extra innings to determine the winner of the ‘A’ division at the annual Sandy McCutcheon Campbell Memorial Blooperball tournament.
In the end the Nose Beers beat the Gore Bay Crew to win the A division championship. Members of the Nose Beers team included Stewart Fowler, Justin Lanktree, Tyler King, Mitchal Payette, Parker Dickinson, Amy Mavec, Kennedy Lanktree, Kim Kitchikake, Natasha Fowler and Gayle Payette.
The ‘B’ division title was won by the Slug Town Bandits over Mere’s Bears, while the C division saw the Keggers win over Team Atina.
A total of eight teams took part in the weekend tournament.
