Gérard “Gerald” Ofer Felix Dionne passed away peacefully at the Manitoulin Lodge, Gore Bay on Monday evening, at age 86. Predeceased by wife Sarah, January 2003. Beloved father of Allen Dionne (wife Laura) and Phillip Dionne of Little Current. Step-grandad to Daniel Dahl, Elizabeth Mainprize (Adam) and Quinn-Lynn Dahl (Mark). Brother of Alida Aubertin, (Jules) Joseph (Pitou), Romeo, Henrie, Theresa Wood (Clifford) and Francis, (all predeceased), and Irene Caya of Quebec. Step great-grandpa to Liberty, Evalena, Harrison, Natalie, Leeson and Savannah. Favorite hobbies: stamp collecting, coin collecting, and buying, selling and trading cars and trucks. Favorite people: his family which included his dogs, Tails and Thunder (2009). There was a memorial service to celebrate Gerald’s life at Grace Bible Church, on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 6:30 pm.
