Gerald Fowler, aged 79 years, of Little Current passed away suddenly at his home on March 21, 2014. Gerald was born on April 18, 1934 to Frank and Winnifred Fowler. He worked for 39 years as forester for Ontario Hydro. He like boating, curling, hunting and fishing. He is predeceased by his brothers Lloyd, Bill, Hubert and sister Dorine. Also predeceased by his brother-in-law Bobby. He will be dearly missed by his wife Marion and sister-in-law Shirley. Gerald will forever be loved by his children Mike (Hazel) of M’Chigeeng, Robert (Kathy) of Dowling, and Jeff (Sandy) of Barrie. Gerald will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Darcie, Fonzo, Venzel, Madison, Skylar, Megan, Derek and great-grandchildren Alexander, Trenton. Gerald will be fondly thought of by his sisters Marie and Florence and his brother Roland. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. As per Gerald’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no services. Donations in memory of Gerald may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
