George Randy Shigwadja “Slick” continued on his journey on June 7, 2013. Beloved father of Hillary Peltier. Cherished son of Bella Shigwadja and Paul Shigwadja (predeceased). Dear brother of Cindy (husband Jake), Starrlee (friend Stephen), Bonnie (friend Marie), Christine (husband Ronus), Roseanne and Clara, Wendy (friend Donovan), Wilma. Remembered by special uncles Bernard, Johnny, Adam (predeceased) and friends Chi-Stan and Edward “I don’t know”. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. George was a good person. He always made everyone laugh. George enjoyed giving tractor rides to his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was a volunteer, a farm man (especially horse pulls), a flag carrier and travelled to Pow Wows. We will miss his smile, his laugh, his wonderful sense of humour, but most of all his love. We will cherish our memories in our hearts. Visitation was on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 1pm at Bella’s home, 1991 Kaboni Road. Funeral Service was at 11 am on Friday, June 14, 2013 at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni. Burial at Wikwemikongsing Cemetery. Online condolences at www.islandfuneralhome.ca.
