MANITOULIN—The Manitoulin Amateur Radio Club Inc. selected its club executive and board of directors at the annual general meeting held April 7 in M’Chigeeng.
Incumbents Al Boyd, president; Jim McLean, vice-president; and Lorraine McLean, treasurer were acclaimed for another two-year period.
Martin Connell of Kagawong, George Dickieson of Little Current and Robert Playter from Tehkummah were installed as the three board members for the new term.
This year marks the 30th year that the club has been in existence on Manitoulin Island. Members donate their time to promoting the hobby and volunteering their equipment and expertise to assist the local communities and service organizations when requested.
