Downtown post office should remain on main street

0

To the Expositor:

Please make sure that the post office remains on the main street of our town.

Such a central point in our lives you cannot just move away. To not have it so central any- more will hurt us all. It’s bad enough that the drugstore has gone.

It will make our downtown front street like a suburb. That’s for cars, not for people. I’m watching it every day. People will come out and cross the street for some coffee or for a little shopping. Politicians should come and really look. It is not there for money but for ordinary people.

Yours truly,

A person who loves this town
