In loving memory of Delia Florence Peltier (nee Otowadjiwan) “Mshko Ode Kwe” “Oma” who passed away at the age of 93 years old at the Manitoulin Health Centre surrounded by her loving family. Oma was known as a very kind woman with a quick smile who always enjoyed the opportunity to laugh and visit with others. She enjoyed knitting, making sweetgrass turtles and going to the casinos and playing bingo until her arthritis took over. Oma enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren whom she cherished very much. Wife of the late David M. Peltier of Wikwemikong. Loving mother of (Angeline predeceased), Louise (Brian) of Sault Ste. Marie, Andrew (Christine) of Wikwemikong, Jerry (Penny) of Ottawa, Virginia Edna (Chuck predeceased) of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, Linda (Wayne predeceased) of Sault Ste. Marie, Hilda, Beverley, and Shirley (Ted) of Wikwemikong, MaryAnn of Ottawa, Darlene predeceased (Allan) of Wikwemikong, Touboy (Debbie predeceased) of Christian Island, Pamela (Rick) of Ottawa, Melvin (Carol) of Sault Ste. Marie and Danette (Murray Jr.) of Birch Island. Survived by 33 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by six grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Loving mother-in-law to Isadore, Bertha, Victor, Conrad, Angelo and PattyAnn. Dear daughter of the late Alex and Sophie (nee Shawanda) Otowadjiwan (both predeceased). Cherished sister of Cecile Milburg and Margaret Shigwadja (Emerick predeceased) of Wikwemikong. Predeceased by her brothers John (Levina predeceased), Thomas (Charlotte) and her sister Lyde Mandamin (Levi). Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation started at 1 pm on Monday, June 15, 2015 at St. Ignatius Church in Buzwah, Ontario. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11 am at the Holy Cross Mission in Wikwemikong, Ontario with burial at the Buzwah Cemetery.
