MANITOULIN—It will be some time before the Still family gets any answers on what caused the untimely death of their father, Jim Still, on August 30 of this year.

According to the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service, in Sudbury, it will still be some time before the final report with the findings from the September 5 autopsy will be released to the family and police.

“Our standard line is that it takes six months,” said Dr. David Cameron.

As has been reported previously, the 85-year-old Mr. Still, a Korean War veteran and long-time manager of the Little Current paramedic team, passed away in the Little Current hospital on August 30 due to complications from an incident on Friday, August 25 at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home, where Mr. Still was a resident.
