In loving memory of Catherine (Cutrine) Evelyn Beatrice Barnsdale (nee Mishibinijima), a resident of Wikwemikong, who passed away at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on October 10, 2012 at age 50. Beloved daughter of the late Victoria (Nee Wassegijig) and Ignatius Mishibinijima. Cutrine was loved by husband Sydney and their children Terry (Rachel), Albert, Austin and loving grandchildren Adriel and Elijah. She will also be missed by her siblings Henry (predeceased), Lina (predeceased), Thomas (Lucy), Shirley, Leonard, Josephine, James (Jean), Raymond (predeceased), Malcom (Linda), Stella (Wayne), and Mark. Godchildren Dwayne, Racheal, Crystal, Adam, Dezarae, Dakota Rae and Abriel. Sadly missed by special friends Liz, Daphne, Katie and Boyd and many nieces and nephews. Cutrine loved playing her guitar and singing with Syd along with nephews Rennie, Dylan, Brian and friends within the community. She also loved singing and hand drumming. Cutrine enjoyed gardening, especially flowers and she liked watching Holmes on Homes and spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family. She also loved being in the company of “Syds dog” Ily. Family and friends visitation was at St. Ignatius Church, Buzwah from 6 pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 with the Funeral Service at 11am on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Holy Cross Mission. Cremation. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
