Pkwaakwat started her journey to the spirit world at Mindemoya Hospital early in the morning on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the age of 50. Daughter of the late Desira Beboning and Lawrence Migwans. Beloved wife of Jacob “Jack” Wemigwans. Loving mother to Sonny Wemigwans, Henry “Bradley” Migwans and Steven Migwans. Cherished grandmother to Quientin, Tristin, Nimkii, Rihanna and Jenna. Dear sister of Myrtle and Mabel (both predeceased), survived by Caroline, Tina, Patsy, Lorraine, Patrick, Kerry and Carol “Mouse”. Special godmother to Jeff. Dear daughter-in-law of Rita Wemigwans. Will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Brenda enjoyed many, many activities. She loved her walks and bike rides, she liked to play cards and bingo; she enjoyed her Y and R, dancing, listening and singing along with her favourite singer Loretta Lynn, writing in her journals, collecting her variety of knick knacks, cooking awesome meals and baking desserts, but most of all she enjoyed the company of her many dear friends and family. Visitation was from 2 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at M’Chigeeng Community Centre until the Funeral Mass at 11 am on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Immaculate Conception Church, M’Chigeeng, Ontario. Burial at M’Chigeeng Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
