Alma Jean (nee Wagg) Hodgins passed away at her home (” My condo”) in Toronto on June 10, 2013 with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Jack Hodgins. Loving mother of John (Carolyn) and Elizabeth (John) Gilchrist. Loved by her five granddaughters Amanda, Alyssa, Rebecca, Jacqueline and Nicole. Fondly remembered by her sister Madeline (late Doug) and sisters-in-law Jean (late Ron) and Doris (late Allen). Predeceased by her sisters Helen, Marion, Gladys and their spouses and her brother Doug. Alma will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, Westway United Church family, friends and her wonderful caregivers Tammy and Halina. A heartfelt thank you to all of the CCAC workers and nurses who helped her remain in her home until the end. Friends were received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Funeral service was held at Westway United Church, 8 Templar Drive, Etobicoke on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 2 pm. Visitation was at the church from 1 pm. Cremation followed.
