A touching Mother’s Day story

To the Expositor:

I just thought I’d share a lovely Mother’s Day story that happened to me.

Last Friday I rode my scooter to Foodland in Mindemoya to buy one of their beautiful hanging baskets. My dilemma was how to transport it home. While trying to work this out, a young couple came up and offered to help me get it home, so I decided to buy two. When I went to pay for the plants the young man informed me that it was a Mother’s Day gift from the two of them and their son. They were weekend visitors from Blind River who I had never met before. What a beautiful surprise I was given by total strangers on Mother’s Day.
