Thank you, Manitoulin Expositor for the article about Manitowaning Historical Milestones (‘The year 2020 marks several Manitowaning historical milestones, Page 5). However, I would like to correct an error that I made in this article. I said that the Agricultural Society was formed to set up and maintain the museum gardens. This of course should have been the Assiginack Horticultural Society that was formed 65 years ago. My apologies to the Horticultural Society. Both groups are important to the community.
