WILLIAM JAMES (BILL) KEATLEY

William James (Bill) Keatley died peacefully at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at the age of 71. Born April 20, 1940, son of Lloyd and Lela (May) Keatley (deceased). Beloved husband of Sandra (Leach) Keatley. Special Dad of Christine Haas (husband Robert), James, and Gordon (wife Shan). Dear Grampa of Alyssa and Evan Haas and Kaitlyn and Alex Keatley. Brother of Marjorie and lifelong friend of Preston Collie. Brother-in-law of Eva (Raymond, deceased), Lloyd (deceased), Joan (Colin, deceased), Norma (deceased; Mervin, deceased), John (Elaine), David (Esther), and George (Sharon). Friend and cherished Uncle Bill of many nieces and nephews, and many more. Sadly missed by so very many loving friends. He loved without exception, gave his trust and loyalty always. We already miss you terribly, but we know you will always be with us and we will see you again someday. Visitation was 7 pm – 9 pm on Friday, December 2, 2011 at Island Funeral Home. Funeral Service was at 2 pm on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Royal Canadian Legion, Little Current. Burial of ashes at Elmview Cemetery. Donations to MHC Auxiliary for pacemaker/defribulator equipment or Heart and Stroke. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
