To the Expositor:
Having participated in the Wilderness Medicine Conference from September 30 -October 2, I feel compelled to write to congratulate this amazing team.
Without having to leave the Island, I was able to learn much valuable information as both an outdoor enthusiast and a health professional.
My congratulations to the team of WildER Med and their knowledgeable and generous presenters and instructors. This team included members of the Ontario Provincial Police, first response, EMS, the Ottawa Fire Department and medical personnel.
Thank you also to the many volunteers, all graciously contributing to make this a memorable, interesting and fun educational event.
