Severe thunderstorm watch for
Manitoulin Island continued
Potential for severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and early this evening.
This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail, damaging winds or heavy rainfall..Monitor weather conditions and listen for updated bulletins.
An east to west cold front over Northeastern Ontario will move south triggering isolated thunderstorms late this afternoon and early this evening. Some of these thunderstorms may be severe with damaging winds being the main threat. Large hail and torrential downpours producing 50 mm in an hour or less are lesser threats
