WALTER “WALLY” MCLEARN HYDE

Walter “Wally” McLearn Hyde of Port Elgin and formerly of Manitoulin Island and Inverhuron, passed away at the Southampton Care Centre, on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband of Bev Hyde (née Carefoot). Dear father of Richard (Lisa) Hyde of Port Elgin and Paul Hyde of Baden. Loved grandpa of John Hyde, Kyle (Sherry) Cameron and Krista Cameron (Ashley McKean) and great-grandpa of Carly Cameron. Brother-in-law of Margaret Hyde of Guelph and Carol Chappell of Port Elgin. Predeceased by his brother Ron Hyde and brother-in-law Dale Chappell. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews. A private family service was held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, ON, N2Z 1Z5, 519-396-2701, with Rev. Jeanette Fleischer officiating. Serving as urnbearers were Wally’s grandchildren, John, Kyle and Krista. Interment, Tiverton Cemetery.
