Grandma of Ben, Athena, Sherisse, Richard, Brandon, Amelia, Paul, Jacob, Corrina, Hilary, Samantha, Andrea, Daniel, Michael (predeceased), Michelle, Laurie, Joey, Cara, Brianna, Nicki, Rory, Koren, Candace, Danika, Danielle, Bobbi, Sonny, Dylan, Amber, Jeremy, Nathan, Miles, Avery, Violet, Talon, M’Skwoka. Great-grandma of numerous great-grandchildren. Sister of Mary Jane (Roland Charette predeceased), Jim Wemigwans, Mary Elizabeth (John Jacobs predeceased). Predeceased by parents Margaret (nee Lavallee) and John Wemigwans and siblings Leonard Wemigwans (Alice), Sara (John Charette), Loretta (friend Stewart Abotossaway) and Levi Wemigwans. Loved by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and adopted children. Mother and grandmother figure to many more. Visitation was from 6 pm on Friday, February 3, 2012 until the funeral mass on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 11 am, all at Birch Island Community Centre with Father George Gardner officiating. Burial at Birch Island Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted with Island Funeral Home, Little Current.
