UCCM Police welcomes experienced detective sgt.

M’CHIGEENG—The UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service is pleased to welcome an experienced detective sergeant to their ranks.

Detective Sergeant Todd Fox hails from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory who also has family ties to M’Chigeeng First Nation. Mr. Fox graduated from the Police Foundations program at Algonquin College in 2006, and soon after joined Wikwemikong Tribal Police.

Detective Sergeant Fox was sworn in May 2. “After his first week of orientation, he will be ready to join the crime unit to serve the communities of UCCMM,” said James Killeen, chief of police for UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service.  Mr. Fox, “has been an officer since 2008, having been promoted to sergeant in 2014, and to detective sergeant in 2019 with Wikwemikong Tribal Police. UCCM Police is pleased to have Todd join our team as he brings experience in working the crime unit and with supervision.”

“Outside of work (Mr. Fox) and his wife enjoy their dogs, travelling, watching hockey, golfing, or spending time at camp. Please help me in welcoming detective sergeant Todd Fox to the UCCM Police Services when you see him out in the communities,” said Mr. Killeen.
