M’CHIGEENG—The UCCM Anishnaabe Police Service (UCCM APS) is pleased to welcome an experienced constable back to their team.
“Constable Curtis Hare is a member of M’Chigeeng First Nation, where he lives with his wife and two children,” a release explains. “Upon graduating from Manitoulin Secondary School, Curtis completed his post-secondary studies in Sault Ste. Marie in the field of criminal justice.”
“Curtis rejoins UCCM APS after having many roles throughout the criminal justice system such as court officer, correctional officer, probation and parole officer as well as mental health and addictions. Most recently, Curtis joined us from Wikwemikong Tribal Police Services,” said Chief of Police James Killeen.
Through Constable Hare’s career he has had the pleasure of serving 11 different First Nation communities as constable.
