M’CHIGEENG FIRST NATION—On December 21, the United Chiefs and Councils of Manitoulin Anishnaabe Police Services (UCCM APS) along with the Manitoulin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence on Highway 551 in M’Chigeeng First Nation. As a result, approximately $1,180 in Canadian currency and over 119 grams of suspected cocaine, crack cocaine and a knife were seized. The estimated value of the drugs is approximately $24,000.
The UCCM Police Service, the OPP’s Community Street Crime Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit and uniform members were involved with the investigation.
Charged are:
Derek Ense-Corbiere of M’Chigeeng with: possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000; two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I substances; and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Faizan Janjooa of Mississauga with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000; two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I substances; and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Modaser Salam of Windsor with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000; two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking Schedule I substances; and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Remember, information is best protected and utilized when the Police can receive the information firsthand.”
