Tehkummah gets green light on audits

TEHKUMMAH—With its 2021 and 2022 audited financial audited statement draft reports now done, Tehkummah township council has given them both approvals.

“We will now be able to get our 2023 audits started,” said Tehkummah Mayor John Deforge after a council meeting last week. “We will be caught up shortly.”

As has been previously reported, the township had hired accounting firm MNP to complete the financial audited statements for both 2021 and 2022.

“We are on our way to getting everything caught up,” the mayor added.
