SYLVIA ANN MARIE SHAWANDE

In loving memory of Sylvia Ann Marie Shawande, “Teala,” 59 years. Surrounded by her loving family, Sylvia passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Henry Dempsey Trudeau. Loving mother of Henrietta, David (wife Myra), Marci (husband Don) and Rock (friend Shelleen). Cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren, predeceased by one grandchild, and great grandmother to Laura-Lee, Aleigha, and Jayden. Dear sister of Madeline (Herman), Constance (David), Abraham, Donna (husband Eugene predeceased) and Mildred Toulouse. Predeceased by Philip, Rose, Patricia and twin brothers James and John. She was the loving daughter of the late Alice Trudeau (Shawande) and Basil Wemigwans. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Sylvia loved life. She loved spending her time with her grandchildren and playing Bingo. She was a woman on the go, there was no stopping her. We are honoured to have been a part of this journey with you. May you rest in peace. Visitation was from 11 am Tuesday, May 1 at the South Bay Community Centre. Funeral Mass is at 11 am Wednesday, May 2, 2012 in our Lady of Grace Church, South Bay, Wikwemikong.
