To the Expositor:
Unfortunately while visiting friends on the Island, my husband became ill and had to be taken by ambulance to your local emergency department in Little Current. I wanted to let people know how much we appreciated the care he received there in the following week. Dr. Cooper, the ambulance team, the technical and nursing staff both in the emergency department and on the floor showed wonderful professionalism. The care was exceptional. We hope you are all proud of your local hospital and we give special thanks to Dr. Cooper. As well we are deeply grateful to our dear friends Lyna and Georgina Holmes and Bernard Spry for their love and support.
