Edith Best, a resident of Manitoulin Centennial Manor, proved to be a lively and engaging individual when The Expositor caught up to her 100th birthday celebrations held in the gazebo at the Little Current long-term care facility. Ms. Best noted that she could still outpace any of the residents, to the unending amazement of the older gentleman in the home. Ms. Best vehemently denied being a centenarian, maintaining that age is simply a figment of the imagination. Ms. Best is seen here with her children and grandchildren. Robyn Best (granddaughter-in-law), Brynn Best (great granddaughter), Corbin Best (great grandson), son Brad Best, Cara Best (granddaughter) and Clayton Best (grandson).
